This workshop allows us to discover, in situation and in a simple and natural way, the main techniques of project management, to examine them and come to an easy practice.
It happens around the «Fishfarm» simulation game the theme of which is the construction of a fish farm. The participants adopt operational roles (project leader, engineer, planner, cost controller, quality manager).
The complete life cycle of an industrial project thus goes ahead in five phases.

  • Discovering the working of project organisations and learning to formalise communication (files, reviews, etc.) and commitments between the parties
  • Acquiring a basic procedure of a project and knowing how to adapt it in function of the type of project
  • Having an overall view over the main techniques of Project Management to be capable of using them advisedly
  • Learning to find the best compromise between cost, lead time and quality, and learning to justify choices
  • Knowing how to get control of the project configuration and manage developments
  • Acquiring general knowledge in matters of ensuring quality of projects
